I need X11 for a program to run and I think I used to have it but deleted it (only i didn't delete it properly i think). I now can't re install x11 as it is already installed and I can't open it as I can't find the program any thoughts?

Did you search for it with Spotlight? And did you go to your preferences folder and delete the X11 preferences? There has to be some remnant of it left, and you need to find it (sorry if I just stated the obvious lol). Good Luck.

Yea I've tried a spotlight search. Can't find anything in there. Any other way to get it back or uninstall it properly so that I can re install it?

Do you have Leopard? And do you have a Leopard install disk (either the ones that came with your computer, or, if it didn't come with Leopard, the regular installation disk)? Because there is a program that you can download that will extract a specific installer from the disk, rather than re-installing the entire operating system.
