HELP! Zen Player won't read on MAC.. Butt is growing larger by the week!

Hi Folks! I hope someone can HELP!
I've tried a few different things and I still can't get my MacBook and Macbook Pro to read-acknowledge-recharge-etc my ZEN Player. I originally used it with my old PC Laptop. Now, I can't use it, or even recharge it, on my MacBooks. This really SUCKS because all of my workout programs and songs are on my Zen player, and since I can no longer use it, I'm walking less, exercising less, etc. I would rather not have to buy an Ipod since I already have ZEN that normally works great and already has all my stuff in it. So, can you Help with any advice to get my ZEN player working on my Macbooks... and therefore get my butt off the couch??
