hi there im pretty crumby with computers so if anyone out there can help!

so i went to turn on my macbook this morning and it wouldnt turn on so i just figured the battery was dead so when i plugged in my charger nothing happened and it still wont turn on, the light on the battery has one green dot which flashes for a few seconds and the chatger itself had a green light all day even when it wasnt connected to my mac which has faded away to pretty much nothing i have a feeling its a problem with the charger but im not even sure

Give the Mac a few minutes to get a charge before you try to start it.

Does the green lights on the side of the Mac blink? If they do it is charging.

It sounds like your MagSafe charger is dying or is dead. Apple should replace it for free if you take it to an Apple Store.
