Ok, so for one of my Computer Science modules.. we must do a group talk on the subject of a specific cutting edge technology.. now this is computer science, more specifically the computer architecture module, and our group have been having difficulty deciding on a topic...

it's gotta be basically in and around the insides of the computer, and the more cutting edge, the better! I was thinking about all this NAND memory technology discussed on one of the other forums, about being able to boot instantly etc? is there anything else in the near future being released thats going to change the computing world massively?

thanks for any reply!

Samsung is working on a new flash technology P-RAM - non volatile, but as fast as DRAM, meaning much lower power requirements and instant on.
