hi there,

I put in a blank DVD+R into my imac, and it has not showed up on my desktop, and so i have no idea how to eject.could anyone be of help?

Naturally, try pressing the eject button on the keyboard.

If that doesn't work, restart the computer and as it's rebooting, hold the mouse/trackpad button.

Hold down the eject key and wait for the disc to come out, it can tkae upto 20 seconds. :) Keep it held down.

I had this problem when I tried using Boot Camp, the XP disc was in and it kept saying disc error and OS X wouldn't start up, I nearly died of panic, but then I thought about holding down the eject button, it worked.

HAHAHAHA. i feel like such a fool. i feel your tone of voice would have made me laugh if you said it to me in person. sweet as man!

Thanks for the oh so easy solution.
