Here is my situation and what I need to accomplish.
I bought a new Macbook Pro in December. Every top-shelf spec you can imagine and listed in my signature below...during december, my desktop PC (custom built with a dell wireless-g 1450 usb adapter attached to it), both macbook pro and desktop pc connected to my dsl internet through linksys wrt54g wireless-g router. During december, my pc would show up under shared devices but recently I noticed it does not show up there anymore. I liked the convenience of sharing documents and files over my private intranet.
1. How do I set up my PC for sharing or make it discoverable for my macbook?
2. Do I need to change settings in my router settings?
3. Do I need to change my MBP settings?
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you all!
