Do you like the font Herculanum?
Well I do, and I use it on my webpage... but for some weird reason, when i was going to edit a banner on my page, i open fireworks, and it says "Some of the fonts you have arent here anymore" (or something like that)

I go into the document, and sure enough, when I try to use Herculanum its not there. So i go to font book, find that its not in there either. next i do a search in spotlight, and I find it. somehow it got moved or something, but I reinstall it. awesome, its back. however, fireworks still doesnt have my font listed, even after a restart. Weird? I think so. Help please, i need my font back

well, after a second restart, it was back. I guess for fonts you have to restart twice :)

Anyway, weird that it just vanished for no reason, but at least it was still on my computer, cause I didnt want to have to buy it.

I personally don't care much for the Herculanum font, but I'm glad you were able to find it and get it going again. Fonts can be weird sometimes, I know I have my share of issues with them. You should check out the Linotype FontExplorer font management program. It's free and it makes managing fonts (turning them off and on) much easier.
By the way, it's great to see a fellow classical musician on here. I studied flute at Oberlin. I work as a web developer now, though. The music industry is not always kind.

Oberlin huh, thats awesome! I was just at the National Trumpet Competition back in march, and saw the oberlin trumpet ensemble... they sounded pretty dang good too. Though, just like my school (university of louisville) they didnt place in the top 5 this year. maybe next year.

and yeah, the classical music world is harsh.... Im still working on my masters so I dont have to be out in the real world yet, but I dont think im gonna like it when I have to be here in a year.
