I have a MBA 11 Early 2014.

Bought in July 2014.

The battery had around 380 cycles and was at around 83%.

But it used to last 3-5 hours of super light usage and was also overheating.

Went to Apple and asked for a fresh battery at my expense.

They obliged.

The battery life has more than doubled. It is 8-10 hours or super light usage.

Mojave in both instances.

What did that cost?

INR 13600 = approx USD 200 = direct through an AASP.

I replaced the battery in a few MacBooks myself and saved a lot of money over going to the apple store.

I once did that and bought an non official battery. It cost half as much but doesn’t even last half as much aa the official battery.

It really depends on who made the battery. I've had very good luck with all three replacements I did in the past year.

Where did you buy those replacement batteries?
I need to get a new battery and track pad for my wife's MBA and am wondering which part seller is the best.
