any other ideas, suggestions? want your input before i pull the trigger on deal...:(:apple::confused:

Make sure the receipt has the same item serial number as the one in the box AND be sure the box is sealed from apple.

Only store receipt has serial #. If he ordered it online, it won't show.
Wait, is this a 3GS? $600 seems a lot. There's only $200 difference if they are both 4s

there are guys ready to buy it for 1300 range, so this is nothing different then that, as 16gb is 650+600 cash?

still too good to be true?

I don't know where you live. If your 64gb is really worth $1300, don't you think his 16gb would be worth $1000?

It is your call at the end. Good luck.

So, sell your 4s for $1300 and then buy what you want legit from Apple. You'll come out with about the same amount of cash and you'll know know for sure that you'll come out of this with a legit iPhone.

If that's too much effort, then so is tracking down some dude who may very well walk away with your iPhone and stiff you on the deal.

i agree, thinking on the same lines. too much hassle to verify the authenticity and stuff.
