Here is what sold me on the iPhone 7

The LTE and Wifi speeds are insane! I tested an iPhone 6 Plus and an iPhone 7 Plus. The 7 was DOUBLE the speed of the 6 on both LTE and wifi. I did the tests around 10 times each. 40megs vs 22 on LTE. 198 vs 130 on wifi.

I'm not sure how they did this but man, the 7 hauls ass!

mine too. Only using AC 867 mbps.

Does your email arrive before you send it?

Do people get your text messages before you send them?

Are your phone calls now conducted at warp speed?

Yeah, sounds interesting.

I'll stick with my pokey speeds on my 6s+. I don't get the fugly aspect of the 7/7+ and I can still do stuff with my phone because I really don't need 48 down to load Facebook faster.

But for the record…my 6s+ gets 51 down on vanilla LTE, Band 4 (T-Mobile).

I'm using cricket and get a whopping 8mbps, and that is still plenty fast. Downloaded a movie yesterday at the airport and it still only took around 15 mins tops.

for the OP the difference isn't very significative, however for me, coming from a 5S, it is.

Downloading apps, restoring from an icloud backup, photo & especially video uploads are tremendously faster on the 7.

Faster is relative (better) to your situation. For you and the OP this makes a difference.

For me and others like me though the difference between 10-12 down and 100+ down does not matter very much when doing a Google search or sending a text message.

My old iPhone 5 is still plenty fast in that regard.
