So, today my machine started to act up again.
Window refreshes goes like a slide show, gaming just crashes the machine.
So I fired up Apple Hardware test:
Test result: Failed
Error code: 4VDC/1/40000003: VideoController
My first 8600M died within months after i got the MBP, but this one has actually lasted since February 2008.
I have also had dark spots on my screen, and got it replaced.
Crossing my fingers that Apple is giving me a new one this time, instead of repairing it again. If they had replaced it the first time, they would have gotten away with a new machine, instead of two new logic boards and a screen, which would be a considerably cheaper solution for them, I guess.
