That's perfect. This guy's making a lot of sense... except for the iPorn, of course. I always thought the introduction of intel machines would be the introduction of new form factors, but he does have a point. What more can you do to scare customers away then change the entire appearance of your product simultaneously as you change its innards.

Form factor first... get people used to and loving the new design. Thennnn comes the major transition, which will occur for the most part unnoticed.

Exactly. and then you can just whisper to your friend that your PPC PB is actually a Yerom M Intel Processor and it'll look exactly the same.

Porn always pushed new technology. Beat/VHS, camcorders, DVD, Internet. Porn is good for technology.

I'm glad that someone else in this world is thinking a bit like me ... Powerbook form factor change, that is ... not iPorn. That portion of his article could have been left out. iTMS is available to all ages and SJ does not need that kind of negative publicity connected to Apple, iPod, iTunes or anything. Talk about a sales killer. JMHO

That is a nice article AdamZ, thanks for sharing. This guy has a nice point of thinking. New form factor now makes scence even more. This just shows you how a resonable preson approaches rumors like that.

To bad that my PB design is going to be outdated , but it still is going to look much better then the PC crap that others make.

I think both parts of the article are right on.

But we all know Apple doesnt want to be associated with porn, especially to the speech he summarized SJ would have. Thats a trip!

Now, if a 3rd party Apple offshoot came up with this at the same time as the vPod, it could work. But it would have to be something the big hitters in that industry stood by. If playboy, penthouse and hustler all got onboard and had their own respective content stores that were iScene (video iTunes) compatible for sync and so forth... big money!

1/2 to 2/3 of the net is porn. Sorry, we are still animals.
