Just personal comments the black Air Smart Cover looks and feels very nice on a black/grey Air. Nice soft feel to it.

The Air Smart Case has a rather thick base and completey surrounds the tablet, making it look and feel larger over all. The volume controls are covered by the case making them harder to use. Difficult to remove tablet once inside. The brown leather case looks quite nice, if you don't mind the size it adds to the Air.

Interesting. Looks like the Air and Smart Cover combo may still be a little too heavy for my tastes.

Smart Cover is the only protection my iPads get.

I preferred the Smart Cover on the Air, don't like leaving the back exposed , maybe incipio will offer a feather back again.

The Apple full case just takes away the Air feeling to the tablet. Not so much the added weight but the added bulk in the back and borders.

Th last gen Smart Cover with its 4 folds was much easier to use in different positions, the 3 folds on the new ones are pretty limiting.
