I found a site that hosts the new iPod ad with Eminem.
Here's the link:http://www.esm.psu.edu/Faculty/Gray/movies.html (The video is at the very bottom of the page. Right-click to save as) It might take a minute for the download to start...the site isn't that fast at downloading....

here's a direct link that i'm hosting-http://media.putfile.com/apple_ipoditunes20051012_h640
(You can only watch it from Put-file I guess)

Use the first link to download it on the guys website....you have to right click on the link at the very bottom of the page.

So was this actually made by Apple because it looks a bit different to their normal iPod ads. It's not as well polished IMO, but still fun. :)
It's an ad for an album that isn't due for release until December. Expect it to return later. (the brief appearance was a tease, not a mistake.)

I now have this ad and the U2 ad replacing the iPod nano ad as my screensaver. (Selected randomly).

Save Hollywood is awesome.

How did you set it as your screensaver?

O.K. I down loaded save Hollywood! Now what? I went to the desk top and screen saver in system preferences and found save hollywood but
the movie clip do's not seem to work as a screen save? Can someone help me out here?

apple got served a cease and desist order by lugz today claiming the ad was too similar to theirs.

Cease and desist

Yeah, Apple was ordered to remove the spot from TV (see attached)

Lugz to Apple: 'Cease and Desist'

Apple's spot with Eminem.

NEW YORK Lugz footwear said it has sent a cease-and-desist letter to both Apple Computer and its agency, Omnicom Group's TBWA\Chiat\Day, over similarities between a commercial "Arrow," which the company aired in 2002, and a spot with Eminem that launched earlier this month for Apple's iPod and iTunes.

Both television ads feature urban images on a red, yellow and orange background, with black silhouettes and a hip-hop soundtrack [Adweek, Oct. 24].

The Lugz spot was created by the client's former agency, Interpublic Group's Avrett Free Ginsberg in New York.

Larry Schwartz, evp and a principal of New York-based JSSI, which makes Lugz, said in a statement, "If you look at these spots, common sense would tell you that there's a problem here. The Apple commercial uses the most powerful elements of our campaign, making the ads disturbingly similar. We are prepared to vigorously pursue all legal remedies in order to protect our rights."

Neither Apple nor TBWA\C\D in Playa del Rey, Calif., could be reached for comment.
