hesitant on genius

I am wondering if someone who has torrent downloaded music would be hesitant on using the genius feature on itunes? doesn't it connect to the itunes store and upload information to it. I know it says it doesn't break privacy or what ever but should some people be worried about this?

I wouldn't be worried. I'm confident the service is completely anonymous. Besides, how does iTunes know where your music came from?

I wouldn't worry about that at all, it would be virtually impossible to determine that.
