As a previous 5C owner, I remember the bad reviews and strange looks I got while using the phone. I think the 8/8+ will do a lot better in the market place. Remember that Apple now has a ton of users on a variety of kinds of iPhones, the 8 is an attractive option for many of them

To me... the 8 is a proven quality phone design. I'm upgrading from the 6s Plus to the 8 Plus.

AFAIK both are cosmetically the same... I'm just getting upgraded hardware/screen with the added things like wireless charging. Lots of people going from the 6/7 to the 8 probably feel the same way.

I considered the X until I watched the keynote and decided the 8 Plus was my best option.

I will also finally give up my 6S+ with beloved headphone jack for the 8+. Same processor and RAM as the X ? Yes please.

Oh, but they really should have upped the amount of RAM.
