After jailbreaking (only) my 8Gb iphone and installing summerboard, fring, services, bigboss prefs and pool.... itunes says I have 4GB of "Other" on my phone.

Each of the apps I downloaded was generally less than 1MB.

Could this be because I ran the bigboss "fix dir permissions" utility?

Jailbreak was via iLiberty

phew... panic over

After another few sync attempts the 4Gb "other" shrunk down to 200MB. 4Gb just happens to be the amount of songs & video that were there before.

Im sure this must be as a result of jailbreaking or the bigboss utils.. maybe broken permissions.

Anyway seems to be sorted now :D
