I'm a bit curious, where does iphoneimei.info get their serial number, lock unlock status etc?

Are they connecting to Apple's database somehow? Any clue?

They will never tell you to be honest, otherwise you'll see duplicates of their site.

Not that i care, but technically its against the law to unlock your phone without your carrier's permission. That's why i never really trusted these sites, i mean i know they will unlock your phone, but no idea if their means are legitimate or not.
