how many Iphones have you used, including the one you are using?

take me for an example, I used to have an Iphone 3GS, then I buy a new Iphone 4 now, then I have two of them.

and what motivates you guys to buy a new Iphone again?

I had a iPhone 3 right after I moved back to the US. Bought a 3GS and sold the 3 on Craigslist for the same price as the 3GS. Bought the 4 and sold the 3GS for $13 less than the price of the 4.

I've used 2 of them as well, 3GS and now the 4

What motivates me is knowing that it's money well spent on something I'll use everyday for a year at least

And currently eligible for upgrade to 5 when it comes out. Each time selling old phone for more than cost of the new upgrade. Win win

I'm on my second iPhone (iPhone 3G now an iP4).

I considered other non-iPhones but the ease and familiarity of apps and OS, as well as the overall user experience kept me onboard for the second go-round.

I do a lot of buying and selling of iPhones as well as repair so I generally always have a few laying around the house.

Currently I've got 2 working 3Gs and an iPhone 4 that I use as my primary.

I will probably be with iPhone for quite a while. I enjoy the ease of use, iTunes, the interesting cat & mouse game of jailbreaking and, of course, this wonderful forum.
