I know, I know... there's a new one this summer - blah blah blah, don't care. :)

The point is... I have a few questions! The first is about the battery. I've seen different people say different things... but is it best to charge it up when I first get it or drain it down (have fun) with it and then charge it? I have read a few threads on this but I'd like to know from experience.

Also, does anyone have any advice or tips for me? I have an iPad and I love it but I know the phone is a little bit different...

Thanks. I've been putting the iPhone off way too long but the new white 4 is just irresistible (and meets my needs/wants). :)

I wouldn't worry too much much about the first time you charge your iPhone. As far as I remember, it should come with the battery partially charged. Go ahead anyway and give it a full charge, and then at least you'll have some idea of the battery life you can expect under normal usage. Some might disagree, but a monthly charge/fully discharge/fully charge cycle is recommended by Apple. Scroll to the bottom of the page here http://www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html for more info. If you already have an iPad then you'll be familiar with iOS, apps, folders and so on. Worth reading through the iPhone User Guide in Bookmarks in Safari.
