Hey Siri no longer working on 8.5 PB

Hey Siri is no longer working on my AW6 since PB 8.5.
It always immediately quits listening and asks me to repeat.
Tried reinstalling with backup and setting up as new.

Addl. info: Reset Hey Siri on my iPhone 12 PM before this started, as Siri didn‘t accept my voice consistently anymore.

Any idea how to repair Hey Siri on the AW?
Could be a beta thing, could be a general issue.
