I have enable Hey Siri on the watch. I tried from the apps and face screen without any success. It's not something that I wasn't going to use but I worked 0% of the time for me.

It worked for me but only if I had it virtually to my mouth.

Thats danger close if Siri is a dude. ;)

That actually worked. Geez. I don't want to put the watch this close to my mouth everything I want to call Siri by voice.

You shouldn't have to have it that close. I can interact with Siri at arms length, in a normal speaking voice.

Just looking at the position of the microphone......is it possible you have the watch slightly too tight, or you're bending your wrist in such a way that you're covering the mic?

Just a thought :)

I haven't had to have it that close to my mouth, but if using Hey Siri, you do have to move your wrist for the watch to wake up before saying Hey Siri.

I think I found the reason why. The microphone seems to be located bottom left corner of the watch casing. Depending on the angle of the wrist, it can be obstructed.

I put my wrist up to normal watch face viewing level and can activate Siri with a soft "Hey, Siri..." without getting right up to it. In a reasonably quiet environment, that is.

I've had "Hey Siri" issues also. It works every now and then but it doesn't work most of the time. Kind of annoying when you're trying to show off the phones functionality...

Try hard resetting your watch (Hold Power button until the slide pop-up and then hold both power and crown until Apple logo shows up) or hard reset your iPhone. Had to do that on my wife's iPhone last night because she had trouble picking up calls with her Watch. A hard reset fixed it.

For me the success rate is not that great. I got to a point that I said "Hey Siri you *ucking *itch..." and she did not seem to sense my anger.

"Hey Siri" works just fine for me and I don't have to hold the watch close to my face to use it. It has also worked just fine every single time I have used it.
