Hey Siri reads back text before sending

Hi

Just found that hey siri whilst driving reads back your texts before sending. This is a feature that i find really useful while driving. But what i found is that this feature wasn't in ios8 but since ios8.0.2 somehow this has changed. There isn't much on the web about this but has anybody else noticed this
