Hey yall... Just got an external harddrive. NEED HELP!

So I just got this hard drive (link to model at bottom) to put all my music and photos on, and everytime I try to put on a song or picture it says "the item ____ could not be moved because 'untitled' cannot be modified".
What do I do?!?

Have you tried using disk utility to format the drive? They might have sent you an erased disk - someone bought it, used it, and resell it after wiping it. "untitled" makes me suspect the drive is blank - does it show up in finder window as a drive? If you haven't been able to do anything with it then open disk utility and tell it to format the drive. hopefully this will work.
