HFS access from Boot Camp

Well, that's interesting. I just noticed that Windows 10 1809 could read an SD card formatted HFS+ on my MBA 2017. That was read only access, but that's an improvement over zero access. No need for Paragon at all.

No luck with the APFS boot drive, though.

Is this something new in Windows 10 or Boot Camp? Or have I been living under a rock for too long?

Apple has provided an HFS read-only driver for Boot Camp for years.
