I think people get too wrapped up in specs.

1080p from the iPhone 5s is not the same 1080p that comes out of the Arri Alexa.

Personally this sort of handy cam seems completely impractical at the moment and has probably only been created to get the ball rolling for 4k technologies.

So true.
When I got my RED Scarlet I was all about 4K.
Then after the full experience its not about the resolution but about the color science, the workflow and the results achieved.
My experience with this camera has been amazing and the final look just blows me away.
And that's whats its all about in the end :)

Once you experience high frame-rates, you will never go back :)

Meh....I like mixing 48fps and 24fps depending on the scene but I still like 24fps...I love shooting at 36fps and conforming to 24p...it makes for that slight epic slow motion :D

Hi,

Thank you for your messages : ) !!!

Kind regards,

All this 4K hype is pretty pointless until we all have 4K monitors... just my two cents.

Yep they are a coming ;)

Couple of friends are testing the new Dell and Sharp.

Ive had my chance with the Seiki.

Cheap but wouldnt waste my money until it works with my setup.

But its not just about the resolution and going 1:1, but about the flexibility with that big resolution for framing, postfx and grading.
With more pixels you get so much more head-room.
Think in terms of 8bit as oppose to 32bit and up :)
