Just thought I'd say hi as a new member.
My name is Myrm and I live in the UK. I have always been a Windows user until last week when I purchased my first ever Mac (see signature block for details). Never used any Mac OS before and so just getting my head around it. I must say that I am vary impressed with the labtop and the Snow Leopard OS.
The only proplem I have had so far is with my 3UK Mobile Broadband dongle (ZTE MF112); the labtop does not recognise it as a dongle modem but only as a disk drive, so, although I can install the drivers, I cannot use it as a dongle. The odd thing is, I have a Vodafone UK dongle (K3760) and the labtop has no proplems with recognising it as a dongle modem. Fortunately I am able to use my 3UK dongle sim card in my Vodafone dongle. I have contacted 3UK about it as I understand that it is an issue with the latest MacBook Pro's.
Anyway, here I am as a newbie Mac user, saying hi to you all.
