Hi,

How much more performance is there between the A5 of the '4s'
and the A6 chip of the '5' and '5c' ?? Is it a 10%, 15%, 20% ??

Kind regards,

igmolinav : ) !!!

According to Apple...up to 2X faster.

Use Google...it works wonders with simple questions like this.

P.S. What does one miss, from one phone to the other,
if the only thing one does is to phone, text message,
watch stored videos and 'whatsapp'. Is that extra
performance really necessary for my needs?

Kind regards,

The iPhone 4s in comparison to the 5c is similar to the comparison between the 4s and 5 because the 5c is basically a plastic version of the 5. So you'll miss the bigger screen and assuming Apple sticks to what it's been doing the past couple of years, iOS updates. Presumably this is the last iOS major update the 4s will receive. The iPhone 5 should receive iOS 9 and then it will lose support where the 4s wouldn't even get iOS 9. The camera is slightly better, the phone is faster and supports LTE where the 4s does not. If the price isn't too much of a concern an iPhone 5 or 5c would be a better deal if you plan to keep the phone a long time before upgrading again.

Hi,

Thank you for your message : ) !!! The iOS updates are my concern,
I fear not to be able tu get newer applications in the next three or
four years and I fear the overall performance of the phone is not good
because I may not be able to get iOS updates. The price is an extra
$110 usd for a 5C with 32 GB. The 4s comes only with 8 GB.

Thank you again, kind regards,
