Purchased a clear cover for my MacBook Pro keyboard, never got hot, but I finally removed it since it transferred marking of the keyboard onto the screen itself. Had to clean it often, so it went by, by real fast..:(

Hi,

I think I'll remove the cover after each use,
(if that is possible at all), for a faster cooling
after using the 11" MBA with it. That way
I don't get markings onto the screen.

The reason to get those covers as well is that
I'm getting an 11" MBA at a reduced price.
A Spanish or any other keyboard is not reduced
in price by the dealer.

Thank you, kind regards,

igmolinav : ) !!!

I don't think cooling is an issue. The air circuit is from the left side of the monitor, across the CPU etc., and then back out the right side. I don't think the keyboard comes into play, or if it does, its role is relatively insignificant.

I wouldn't use a keyboard cover because... why?

Hi,

Why not motrek ???

Please tell us : ) !!!

The issue here, or the reason for using
the cover is the language reason !!!

What is so bad about using the cover?

Thank you, kind regards,

Sorry, I didn't know you were going to use a keyboard cover to change the language of the keyboard. Of course I think that's very reasonable.

Some people use keyboard covers just to cover the keyboard which I think is unnecessary.

Again, I wouldn't worry about cooling.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer : ) !!!

Yes, that is the reason, to change
the language of the keyboard!

However, how do I change the
language in or of the computer?

Thank you again, kind regards,

Go to the Apple menu (top left corner), "System Preferences...", and then "Language & Region" towards the top. All the stuff to do with language (system and keyboard) is in there.

Hello motrek,

Thank you for your message : ) !!!

I will start experimenting with the
language change, as soon as I get
the computer.

The keyboard does NOT BREATH.
There are multiple layers of plastic built within it, and the underside is also sealed with a black plastic layer as well.
I don't understand why people keep thinking this way, its very easy to find pictures online of the mba insides. In the real world you would have more air passing by the edges of the touchpad.
