I have bought 4x2 GB Corsair MAC 1333mhz for my Macbook 2010
Model: Macbookpro6.2

Now only works in safe mode and detect 8GB, if boots normal give-me error and restart, i have already put the old memorys and everything fine. With only one memory the problem its the same, try do install a fresh copy of Os X and give-me errors too.

Should be a problem with memorys ? Its strange in safe mode its fine.

Thanks in advance.

Ah, Crucial again.:roll eyes:

Go to the link below, download Memtest, while you are there also click on guide, it will download a small guide (Text File).
Read the guide, startup in Single User Mode and test the RAM, if there are any Errors the RAM is faulty.

Crucial has a lot less problems than Corsair, also Macs can be picky with Memory.

It is odd that it works in safe mode. Safe mode stops any start at login app from running and runs a pretty stripped down system, so it could be the safe mode is not stressing the memory enough to make the errors show up.

But if the problem goes away when you put the old memory back it, that pretty much makes the case the new memory is bad.
