Hi,

My cel. phone does already many things, including
recording the interviews that I do. Up until now,
no lectures - sitting at a distance in a conference
room, during a lecture or a work meeting - have been
recorded with my cel. phone, an iPhone 5C.
However, I would like to start recording lectures
and to continue doing (face to face) the inter-
views that I do, that vary in time and can last up to
seventy five minutes.

Should I continue using my phone, or should I
start using something like this:

or this:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1116977-REG/zoom_zh4nsp_h4nsp_handy_recorder.html

or should I stick to my phone ??

Thank you in advance, kind regards,

igmolinav : ) !!!

P.S.

Hi,

My recordings with iPhone are very good!
Am I missing anything for not having any
of the zoom recorders provided in the links??
Is the quality better with the recorders??

I don't have a camera yet that can film,
is that when I'll need a recorder ??

Thank you again, kind regards,

igmolinav

You can find digital recorders MUCH less expensive than those you posted that will do the job just fine. I bought a handheld stereo recorder that we use to record our band practices and it only cost me like $59 and change. For recording lectures it would be more than adequate.

Hello,

Thank you for your messages : ) !!!

Tomorrow which recorder did you get
for $59, would you please tell me?

Thank you, kind regards,

Get a Rode iXY mic for your iPhone and you'll be away laughing.
