Havent been to the forums for a while, I have a 2010 i5 MBP that, when I drain the battery completely, just goes into hibernation mode (without the pulsating light in the front). With my former santa rosa MBP, just before completely draining the battery it would go into "forced" sleep mode (you could only wake it up if you plugged it to the mains). What I would like to know is if this direct to hibernation is a feature of the 2010 MBP and therefore normal.
Please answer if you actually have a 2010 MBP and you have tried this test.

TIA.

I have a 2010 15" i7. I don't have that problem so not sure what is there to "resolve."

You may need to get your MBP serviced.

So what you are saying is that if you drain your batteries almost fully, your MBP goes to "forced" sleep mode with the pulsating light in the front?
