Hidden album (videos)

I was just wondering if hiding videos in the hidden album makes the videos unplayable or basically how to make them work?

I’ve recently put some in there and now I can’t get them to play. Can’t really ask anyone cuz these aren’t the videos to be showing people.

No. They play in the exact same way as they do when they are not hidden.

It’s weird cuz they don’t work. I have to go into “edit” for them to play.

For me...

Photos > Hidden > Face Unlock > place finger on photo or video thumbnail > Photo is displayed / Video thumbnail is displayed (To play video, I simply place my finger on the play icon).

Works in exactly the same way as images and videos that are not hidden. iPhone 14 Pro running 16.5.1(c). Maybe try removing all photos and videos from the hidden folder, reboot the device and move them back to the hidden folder?
