Hidden files

When I create a thumb drive MP3 for my car, OSX creates all these hidden files (I'm guessing for spotlight?) also that my stereo reads as unplayable files so every other song is an unplayable file. I plugged it in a Windows machine and had to manually delete them all. Looks like MP3 files but only 4kb size. Any idea how to prevent OSX from creating all those hidden files?

Using Finder. Just a simple copy/paste.

not sure why its creating those hidden files, but here is a simple app that toggels hidden files on and off so you can use that to view the hidden files to delete them instead of plugging into a PC to delete them like your currently doing
