Hidden Hard drive Icon

My servers went down and now I can't see my hard drive in either the desktop or windows.
It's greyed out when I Apple-click on the top of a folder to display the path.
I've tried checking and unchecking the Harddrive icon display in Finder preferences.
I can't think of anything else!
Help?!
