Hidden Home Folder

Hey yall, Im new to the forum so please dont flame, its not cool.
Ok, I have searched the question but couldn't find anything.
Anyway, one of my home folders for a user account has gone missing. when you are logged into the account it belongs to you can navigate to it via finder. However you cannot see the folder via finder from any other account. This account is NOT an admin. I had this problem when I was running tiger and it still remains now that I have leopard. 2Ghz INtel core 2 duo Aluminum iMac.

OOPS, I gave the wrong info in my original post. what I meant to say was that the folder it self can be accessed via finder when logged in to the "Offending account," but the Home folder does not appear in the user folder no matter what account I am logged in to

Okay, that's a bit odd.

While running from the offending account, open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app and run:

cd ~
pwd

What does it say?

Have you tried repairing permissions using Disk Utility?

Nope. But if repairing permissions fixed it, that a moot point.

How can you access it if it's not appearing in the Users folder?
Both my accounts appear there, but only one with the Home icon, of course.
