Hi,

I noticed that there are a lot of "hidden" leftovers from old apps on my iCloud account.

In the /Users/ludo/Library/Mobile Documents folder in OS X, there are a lot of subfloders for apps and games I haven't installed or used in years, for example :
  • iCloud~de~meteogroup~WeatherPro
  • iCloud~com~imangi~templerun2
Worse, these folders appear on my iPhone when doing a search :

I tried to delete them (rm -rf iCloud~com~imangi~templerun2) but they reappeard after a while.

Also, when looking at space used by iCloud Drive on my phone it says 52.2MB of documents and data :

But as you can guess, my iCloud Drive is empty, so I don't know what or where these 52.2MB are. Pressing the delete button does nothing.

Any idea ? According to Apple, users are supposed to be in control of their data, but this is clearly not the case here.

Edit : I forgot to mention that all these also appear on clean install of iOS 13 beta and OS X Catalina beta

There was a way of signing to developer.icloud.com and you could see all those "hidden" files and folders and you could delete them, but apple closed that door. Since then, I also trying to figure out how to delete these but apparently there is no way. The only way is to have an actual developer account or to restore your device and set as new.
