Today I noticed something weird / interesting in Reminders on OS X.

Basically, I had a reminder which said something like "Meeting [Name]" and it automatically created a new field called 'Meeting' in the Edit window. It's not really the word 'Meeting' because my Mac is in german. So it may be another word in english.

And basically, I can change the date of that 'Meeting' field. This is not to be confused with the 'Date' field, where you select a date on which it should remind you.

Anyone noticed this before? Basically I can set the 'Date' field to something like 15th of April … that would be tomorrow, meaning it would remind me of the Meeting tomorrow, and at the same time, set the 'Meeting' date to April 18th. So tomorrow it would remind me of the Meeting on Monday.

But the date shown below the reminder is the date of the Meeting, not the date when it reminds you.

Apparently there's certain words that trigger such functions. Anyone know of more words like that?

Also, it would be cool if the date of the 'Meeting' field could be automatically shown in the Calendar. Maybe there's even a way to do it.

And how I discovered all of this: Basically, the date I had set for that meeting had passed already, by a week, but I didn't check the box yet. The date appearing below the reminder was coloured in red already, and I wanted to remove it. I opened the Edit window and noticed that there wasn't any date reminder set. I thought it was a bug first. I wondered why it was showing me a date when the Date Reminder box was unchecked. Then I noticed the 'Meeting' field. Lol.

EDIT:

I just played a bit with it. Apparently, it hasn't anything to do with the word 'Meeting' (in german). I created a new Note, with that word, and it didn't activate that Meeting field. So it's seems like it's something else that triggers it…

Maybe someone knows, what it is? :)
