Hidden Photoshop Files

First off - I read the guide about unhiding files and it still didnt work.

I've been saving files "optimized for web" into various folders. It seems to save just fine, but when I go to add it or view in in the finder, nothing is there. I can see in in photoshop, but the finder is now showing this.

Any ideas? Need screenshots?

What are the filenames, and what are the names of the folders you're putting them into? You're not starting the filenames with a dot (".") are you?

Maybe you're just looking in the wrong place. When you do the save for web again and save them to the same folder do you see the previous files you saved there as well? Does it ask you to replace the file if it's the same file name?

Well... it seems like somethings weird. My "Save as for web" isnt seeing any new files. Heres an example of what I see in my finder when I save for web:

(notice no blamads.com)

Then when I save normall:

(notice the blamads.com).

Whats going on? The colors are all messed up when I save as, i need to save optimized for my websites.

I did that a while ago and lost the file, how do i find it again? Spotlight doesnt find the file but its till there

Try just saving it to your desktop. Also I think you can command click at the top of the file window and it'll show you the path to that directory. Make sure it's the same as in Finder.

Well darn, seems like saving on the desktop worked =). When I first got my mac I stupidly renamed my home folder, thug messing up some stuff (I figure). I may reformat now because of it... even though this is the only issue I experienced. (haha about porn folder, lol =))

Any other suggestions for getting it to update my new folders and files?
