I have an iPhone X with the latest firmware. How do i hide an app? I've followed these BS videos on youtube but they are all bogus. Are there any apps out there? or REAL tricks?

You're stock, not jailbroken.

As stated, there is no way to hide apps when you're stock.

Any videos you followed that purported to show you how to jailbreak for iOS 11 are either outdated or fake. There is no jailbreak for iOS 11.

Don't know why you are asking in the jailbreak section if you're stock.

Is there an app that can change the appearance of an app? My kids use my phone and I want to make an app look like something they would never be interested in

No. That would be against Apple's sandbox policies for the App store.

I 'hide' apps on the second page of apps in a folder. Sort of out of sight, out of mind.
