A few months ago, it used to be that I could delete an uploaded or matched song from iTunes Match completely.

I noticed now that the popup says "Hide in iTunes Match."

It seems to function the same (the song disappears from all devices), but I'm concerned that these songs (the uploaded ones) are still "somewhere" in iTunes Match and counting against my limit.

So, has iTunes changed from "delete from iCloud" to "hide in iCloud" or am i doing something wrong?

I noticed this switch recently as well. Certainly a deliberate change without any explanation.

This change was already discussed quite often.

In the past when deleting a track on iTunes Match and again adding it some time later it immediately appeared as uploaded again. So there seems to exist some kind of buffering, which is quite normal for any database as it's not being reorganized every day.

So it seems there was some kind of a legal background to change the wording..but that's just a guess.

So I deleted a few tracks from the cloud on my laptop but they're still on my desktop. How do I get them back up?

--thanks
