Hi,

I am running 10.8.2 and my menu bar is full of rubbish. Is there any way to hide some of the items in it? I have tried CMD+Drag and it doesn't seem to work?

Any ideas?

Thanks,

What items specifically? Some can be turned off via System Preferences and their respective pane (Tim Machine item in the Time Machine pane and so on) or the applications that put them there (Evernote item in the Evernote preferences) and so on.
If CMD + drag does not work, that preferences thing should do the trick, or at least bring you into the right direction.

I have some Trillian icons, Facebook (Part of Trillian), Skype, Cinch and Automute, none of these are needed in the menu bar for me.
