Hide Mail app badges only?

I don't always read or delete my emails right away and I'm sick of looking at the badge.. The other apps that display badges are helpful to me.

Anybody know a way to kill the one for mail only?

from what i understand about "theming" the badge file is only 1 file so its not different for each app
