I have hide preview enabled for my text messages, yet whenever I get a text I see the message and a field underneath to reply in. Anyone else noticing this?

Does it hide when it's locked and show the message when it's unlocked?

I don't see the preview when it's locked, but when the device is unlocked I'll either see with preview or without. I have no idea why it's random like it is right now.

I believe that since they implemented Quick-Reply, it behaves this way. Personally, I have my iPhone set to hide message previews but would like that to happen only when it's locked.

Maybe Apple will had a new setting in iOS 8.1 that hides previews when the iPhone is both locked & unlocked.
