I've got LaunchBar running at all times on my computer (on OSX Leopard) but I don't want it showing up in the dock. Some apps have a hide-from-dock option in their Preferences, but as far as I can tell LaunchBar doesn't. So how do I tell OSX to keep it out of the dock?

You can try something like Dockless to change the mode so that it is hidden from the dock.

Or you can edit the applications Info.plist to include the following

LSUIElement 1

actually, while we are on this - whenever i hide the application i cannot get it back because it does not appear anywhere in the dock. any ideas?
I haven't tried Dockless, so I don't know if this applies, but wouldn't a hidden app be revealed with Command-Tab? Or does Dockless remove it from that list, as well?
