Simple question really. I am running 4.2.1 on an iPhone 4 and at current I have the slide to unlock bar hidden with LockInfo. The problem is that I don't use any other feature of LockInfo and for this simple thing it is really not worth spending £5 for the software as I am currently using the trial.

Is there a tweak simply for removing the slide to unlock without LockInfo?

I use, movelockscreentounlock (move lockscreen to unlock). It's a cool tweek as it doesn't require WinterBoard installed on your iPhone.

You slide the complete lockscreen to unlock the phone. Within the settings is the ability to make the clock and slider disappear.

Easy to use and really surprises all who see it in action.

Edited to add: I see it is called, "Move2Unlock" in Cydia although once downloaded shows as the above in your iPhone settings.
