I plan on getting the iPad Pro, but what on earth are they thinking making the apps that spaced out on the home screen? It looks so silly having 4x8 on that massive of a screen, am I wrong?

We are still in a 'beta' world for iOS 9, and 10's not close.
I think since 'that is how iOS8 is', that's how it's going to be in promotional material.
Just my opinion. I am not saying you're wrong. But I would give it a bit of time.
They adjusted when they introduced the 6, they even made it support landscape on the homescreen.

No you're not. This falls in to the territory of accessibility and I think it's terrible that Apple hasn't included a few basic options for homescreen icon layout such as size and amount of apps per page along with being able to resize the dock similar to how you can on OSX.

Agreed. I really...REALLY hope they're working on an iOS/OSX hybrid for the iPad Pro 2.
