In settings prior to iOS 14.3 there was a "show Apple Music" toggle that you could turn off. What happened to this in 14.3?
Do you have the Apple Music app installed? If so, it should be the first option under Settings > Music. In settings prior to iOS 14.3 there was a "show Apple Music" toggle that you could turn off. What happened to this in 14.3?
It's actually not there oddly enough.Do you have the Apple Music app installed? If so, it should be the first option under Settings > Music.
I guess way to go Apple for shoving Apple Music in our face even if we don't have a subscription.I just opened the Apple Music app in Settings and saw the “Hide Apple Music” toggle disappear off the screen. It is no longer showing. I am running iOS 14.3 on iPhone mini.
Edited to add: Same thing just occurred on my iPad Pro with iOS 14.3
That is where I was.Go to settings / music.
not in music app. Phone settings.
Yes, I know where it USED to be. It's not there for me as an option anymore. Then again, I have unlimited Apple Music with my Verizon plan now so it doesn't matter anymore. That is where I was.
It shows for you because you aren’t subscribed to Apple Music.Weird. Here’s mine 14.3 iPhone 12 Pro.
You misread by response to the other forum member.Yes, I know where it USED to be. It's not there for me as an option anymore. Then again, I have unlimited Apple Music with my Verizon plan now so it doesn't matter anymore.
Looks like if we already subscribed there won't be Show Apple Music option anymore. Now this option is transferred to Sync Library. If you disable Sync it will ask you to turn off Apple Music. I just turned off sync library and the "show apple music" option is still not there. Only the option to turn sync back on. eh.Looks like if we already subscribed there won't be Show Apple Music option anymore. Now this option is transferred to Sync Library. No. What I mean is when you turn off Sync Library it will ask you to turn off Apple Music. You do that and all your music in Apple Music will be gone. If you want to take it back simply turns Sync Library back on.I just turned off sync library and the "show apple music" option is still not there. Only the option to turn sync back on. eh.
The prompt in the attached screenshot is what I see when I turn off Sync Library. Not sure why you see another prompt.No. What I mean is when you turn off Sync Library it will ask you to turn off Apple Music. You do that and all your music in Apple Music will be gone. Since we are subscribers there won't be Show Apple Music option anymore.
That’s exactly the same I get. Turn it off and it will delete all Apple Music from your library, just like when you turn off Show Apple Music. It even states in the prompt you captured (that it will remove all Apple Music content). The prompt in the attached screenshot is what I see when I turn off Sync Library. Right, the toggle deletes any downloaded content (Playlists, albums, songs) but it does not turn off Apple Music. Prior if when the "Show Apple Music" toggle was there it would literally remove content tabs from the music app. If I remember correctly it would leave behind the radio tab, library tab and something else. Now, with Sync turned off you can still browse music and stream. That’s exactly the same I get. I don't think we will have that option again. Even if we unsubscribe I'm not sure it would delete things like Browse or Listen Now.
