Does anyone know if it's possible to hide the icon label on the dock only. I'd like the rest of the icon label to appear.

Thanks...

With Winterboard there is an option to hide dock labels, undocked labels, or both. Available for free in Cydia.

Ok i know this is an old thread, but i have a similar question so i thought i would just use this thread.

I m using the "no docked icon labels" theme in winterboard, but i can still read the label

there are no longer white but you can read them. How do i remove them totally and can it be done with winterboard.

I would use Springtomize to hide them, its a couple bucks, but well worth it.

I use IconRenamer, which is free, to delete the names of icons on my main home screen. But you can also use plists in themes to alter the characteristics of labels, and that's almost certainly what's going on here given the color change. What happens if you move No Docked Icon Labels to the very top in WB?

There are updated versions of the No Icon Labels available in Cydia.
