Hiding Partitions in OSX

hey i have a partition with linux installed on it, but when i have my mac on it shows the partition is there anyway i can hide it so it doesn't show up in OSX?

nah, i wanted to keep the Mac HD on the desktop, nonetheless thanks for you help
